2016 is our 20th anniversary and we felt a sparkling wine was the perfect way to celebrate. This elegant wine is made from Chenin Blanc that we harvested at night, fermented cold, and aged on the yeast for 20 months. The floral aroma is accompanied by minerals, toast, & flavors of stone fruits balanced citrus acidity.
This wine has great depth of flavors, earthy, mineral, floral, and pear fruit. On the mid-palate, lovely fruit flavors of pear, apricot, and peach, mixed with minerals, earth, and a touch of fennel spice. Great with rich or spicy foods!
Minerals, spice, and beautiful aromatics and texture. We use a 500-gallon egg-shaped concrete fermentation vessel—affectionately named Bart—to highlight the minerality of the grapes, and the results have exceeded our expectations again.
The warm 2018 vintage produced fully ripened fruit resulting in a deep reddish-pink color that hints at the wonderful aromatics and rich, velvety texture and wild cherry and pomegranate flavors of this exceptional rosé.
The grapes for this blend came primarily from the Signal Ridge Vineyard and was modeled after Grand Cru wines from the Beaujolais region of France. Its light red color, excellent aromatics, and silky-smooth texture mark it as more “Old World” style of wine.
We absolutely love these old vines planted on their own roots, in an unlikely spot in Antioch, CA. Vibrant fruit including pomegranate, cranberry, as well as floral notes of rose and violets. A substantial wine with round tannins and a velvety mouthfeel, balanced by vibrant acidity and long sweet finish.
A beautiful wine that offers bright, lively fruit with a great structure and balance. This Grenache is made in almost a Grand Cru Beaujolais style that offers a velvety texture with aromas of wild strawberry and flavors of strawberries and raspberries and a finish of minerals and peppery spice.
We take this fruit from the biodynamically farmed Heart Arrow Ranch in Mendocino Co, ferment using whole clusters and uncrushed grapes, followed by aging in 900-gallon casks to create a wine that is more similar to a Beaujolais than a California Zinfandel. Soft and velvety with flavors of black cherry and strawberry.
The sloped rocky soil of the Louvau Vineyard is perfect for growing Zinfandel. These 100-year-old vines produce dark, concentrated fruit that makes a wine of great depth and complexity. Flavors of black cherry and cassis with a peppery finish.
The Reserve version of our classic Dry Creek Zinfandel is made by hand selecting individual barrels of our best lots to make this special blend. Selected for intensity, complexity & balance, this is consistently one of the finest wines made at Dashe Cellars!
One of our most aromatic wines, with floral and bright red fruit aromas, this is a wonderfully food-friendly wine. The cool climate and rocky soil of the Florence Vineyard in the north of Dry Creek Valley make for an exceptionally vibrant and intense Zinfandel.
The bright red volcanic soil, steep rocky slopes, and western exposures always make for wines that feature intense blackberry and cassis, chocolate, licorice, coffee, and peppery spice. Always a crowd-pleaser!
