2016 is our 20th anniversary and we felt a sparkling wine was the perfect way to celebrate. This elegant wine is made from Chenin Blanc that we harvested at night, fermented cold, and aged on the yeast for 20 months. The floral aroma is accompanied by minerals, toast, & flavors of stone fruits balanced citrus acidity.
These organically-grown gnarled, 30+ year-old vines are from high in the mountains of Potter Valley. We made this wine bone dry and has powerful aromas, a mouthfilling velvety structure, and a depth of flavor that makes it one of the most age-worthy Rieslings we’ve ever produced.
There is no other wine that is so perfect for a warm sunny day than a crisp, dry Rosé. Since these grapes were picked exclusively for rosé, we were able to pick early to preserve acidity and we pressed the grapes on their own to make the finest, most subtle rosé. It is a perfect wine on its own as an apéritif, or will easily pair with light meals or even grilled meats.
Perfect conditions in the vineyard created a perfect combination of crisp and lush in the bottle! This wine has aromas of citrus blossom and honeycomb with bright apple flavors that evolve to spicy minerality on the palate thanks to our concrete egg fermentation vessel.
