Each year, the West Vineyard produces one of our best wines. From the second it is crushed into the fermenters, it is famous for its instant dark color and beautiful blackberry fruit and chocolate flavors. It is truly a wine made in the vineyard. This is certainly also a great wine to age in the cellar. Starting out as an intense, brooding wine and then softening with just a few years of bottle age into a balanced, mouthfilling wine.
